Our spring study is going to be on Ruth with the book and study by Sandra L. Richter. Sandra is the Robert H. Gundry chair of Biblical studies at Westmont College in Santa Barbara, California. She served as a professor of Old Testament at Wheaton College and for the past 4 years she has been teaching Hebrew language, exegesis (interpretation of a text to uncover true meaning), cultural contexts AND Environmentalism and the Evangelical. She has a Ph.D. From Harvard and for more than 10 years was the director of Israel studies for Asbury Theological and Wesley Biblical seminaries. Starting date is Tuesday, March 4th at 6:00pm and Thursday March 6th at 9:30am. The cost is $14 for the study guide. This is a 7 week study with the last day being Thursday, April 17th.
