I am so grateful for the freedom that God has provided for us through our faith in Jesus Christ. Jesus came into the world to free us from sin and the things that bind us, and equip us for joyful obedience in the Holy Spirit. Faith Promise Missions Sunday has a great history in our Church. CUMC has always been very mission-minded, supporting the work of God through local, regional, and world-wide efforts. This Sunday we’re going to hear from Steve Whitaker of John 3:16 mission, and also a leader from City Lights Tulsa (ministry with homeless persons,) and some witnesses from our Church family as well.
