Midweek in Midtown begins on March 25, and we have
some great opportunities for you to grow through these
six-week classes.
Sing to the Lord: Learning to Pray and Worship
Through the Psalms, taught by Dana Leeds. Join us as
we explore how the Bible teaches us to pray and worship
through song. In this study, we will learn how Hebrew
poetry works, explore several key psalms, and discover
how these songs point us to Christ. Most importantly,
we will learn how the Psalms teach us to
bring every part of life before God in prayer and worship.
Sign to the Lord: An Introduction to American Sign
Language, taught by Barbara Knutson. Have you ever
wanted to learn American Sign Language? You are invited
to an introduction to American Sign Language
(ASL). During the six weeks, you will learn some basic
conversational signs and skills, and you will learn the
Lord’s Prayer together as a class. No sign language experience
is necessary.
Caring Like a Samaritan: How Jesus Teaches Us to
Care for Others, taught by Pastor Aaron Tiger. The
Good Samaritan isn’t just a great story about loving our
neighbors; it’s also the model of care and compassion
that Jesus describes and prescribes for how we care for
others. These six weeks will examine the action verbs of
the Samaritan and what that means as you care for
your children, your spouse, your neighbor, your parents,
and your friends.

The Men’s breakfast will be Saturday, March 14th, 2026 from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at Christ Church. Our speaker will be Dan Hicks. Dan was born in Zambia in the continent of Africa to an American missionary family. His family returned to the U.S. when he was very young and they moved to Tulsa when he was 6 years old. After graduating from Edison HIgh School, he went on to obtain a BS degree in architecture at OSU. On November 14th, 2024, Dan was attending a TU football game and he suffered a major heart attack. Come hear his personal testimony and remarkable story of a miraculous survival against all odds.
We will also have excellent food, fellowship, and music. If you have any questions, you can reach Mark Knutson at 918-428-6083.
