In that instant we are justified, forgiven of our sins, and declared right with God. What a wonderful gift! At that same time, the Holy Spirit begins to sanctify our lives — begins to transform us into the person God intends us to be. What a great gift as well! Yet, how many of us journey along not fully aware of God’s transforming plan or our new identity in Christ?
