Art Exhibit | December 15 – 24
The “Weary World Rejoices” Art Exhibition showcase will highlight local artists interpreting that theme through a variety of mediums. The Exhibition is scheduled for Dec. 15th-Dec. 24th, and we would love to highlight up to 3 pieces per artist.
This exhibition is open to all artists, of all ages. Contact Brittney to learn more about how you can participate.
Christmas Spectacular | December 22
On Sunday, December 22, you are invited to The Christ Church Christmas Spectacular! During our normal Sunday morning services, we will present an interactive retelling of the Christmas story with humor, music, and some congregational participation. It will be an uplifting and encouraging service for all ages! Wear your most festive Christmas attire!
Blue Christmas | December 22
Not all Christmases are Merry and Bright. And that’s ok.
Christmas might be difficult for you this year for a variety of reasons. Because of loss, grief, and changes in traditions, it can be hard to muster up the courage to sing “Joy to the World” when something in your world is so painful.
Our Blue Christmas service on December 22nd at 4 pm in the Holt Chapel is our opportunity to make space for grief and hope this Christmas in a smaller, more intimate setting.
There will be music, a short message, a time of prayer, and an opportunity for people to name and mark their grief during the service. Following the service, we will have a short reception to just be together with others.
